Under her leadership and direction\, Mattamy’s Tucson Division increased its closings by 182% in just two years\, becoming the sixth largest builder in the market. With much of her career in new home sales\, Anjela has experience in the competitive markets of Los Angeles and Phoenix real estate and was the second employee hired when Mattamy expanded into Tucson in 2014. Based on her impressive track record\, Anjela was named as one of the Top 40 Under 40 rising stars in the homebuilding industry across the United States by Professional Builder magazine in 2020. \nBriana Rader\nDirector of Land Acquisition\, Mattamy Tucson\nBriana Rader is Director of Land Acquisition for Mattamy Tucson where she has continued to grow the company’s Tucson footprint through management of acquisition\, entitlement\, engineering\, platting and project management of potential and future communities.  She is a key industry stakeholder in the greater Tucson region as she has acquired\, entitled and managed thousands of lots in Southern Arizona since coming ‘back home’ to Tucson in 2014. This community has been decorating during the Christmas Holiday every year since 1949! This Festival of Lights has won a place in the hearts of Tucsonans for decades! In 1986 the Winterhaven Festival of Lights joined up with the Tucson Community Food Bank to further spread the magic of the Season. This neighborhood is called Winterhaven…Thus\, the Winterhaven Festival of Lights has been built and maintained each year by the creative and inspiring efforts of the residents of the Winterhaven Community. They decorate tirelessly and each year it is better than the last. These amazing people go as far as building huge displays and paying for all the materials and electric during the event to keep their houses lit. This incredible effort should not be overlooked and the real heroes of this amazing event are the residents. Without them\, not only would this unique and uncommon example of holiday spirit they embody would be lost\, so too would be the huge effort the festival brings for the Tucson Food Bank. So if you meet any of them\, thank them sincerely. The simple beauty of this event creates the essence of the nostalgic Holiday Season and should remind us all to slow down\, experience the holiday\, and try to give back to our community as this community does each year. The Residents of the Winterhaven Community maintain a certain character they want to continue and that is to provide “a festival presented to the people of Southern Arizona and operated by the volunteer efforts of Winterhaven’s residents.” During the many years of the Festival\, Winterhaven has become world renown and we meet visitors from all over the globe who are here to see this event exclusively! But the main is event is the lighting of the glorious 35-foot tall Christmas tree. \nThis years event takes place December 3-4\, 2022. \nThe Oro Valley Festival of the Arts and Holiday Tree Lighting is a two-day Festival that adds vibrancy to Oro Valley by creating opportunities for people of all ages\, cultures and backgrounds to celebrate the arts. The mission of the Festival of the Arts is to connect art and the community by presenting an annual arts festival and by promoting the arts in the Southern Arizona community. \nThe Oro Valley Festival of the Arts has grown to become one of the largest fine art and craft festivals in the region\, second only to the Fourth Avenue Street Fair.  The event engages a diverse demographic\, ranging from ages 2-80\, with programming suited to all age groups (ie. student performances\, Tuba Christmas\, Free Children’s Activities\, Jazz\, cultural foods\, etc).
